Our taxi tests are for those applying to their local Council Licensing Authority for their taxi licence. DDTC is the preferred supplier of taxi tests to several councils including Torbay, Teignbridge and East Devon.

Our taxi tests are set to the DSA taxi test standard.

The 2-hour test option first includes an hour of practical driver development; this provides an overall review of the drivers understanding and skills. This is then followed immediately by the practical test. This option is recommended for those sitting their first ever test.

If you are located in North Devon we can offer you an ‘outreach’ appointment.

✔ You must be able to read a number plate at the distance of 20 metres

2 Hour Taxi Test – BOOKING FORM

2, Once you have completed the form you will be asked to submit and pay through our secure online booking system.
3. Please allow us some time to review your booking. Once we have allocated you with a trainer / examiner they will contact you personally to arrange a suitable day for your training and test. Normally this process takes no longer than a couple of days.
